It has been a very slow week for polls, although there has been much political news. Romney has weakened enough in Florida to put it back into the "Toss Up" column.
Two states moved out of "Toss Up". Virginia moved back into Obama's column. Florida is back into Romney's. Both states appear destined to move frequently. This moves Obama's electoral count back up to 279, above the required 270. This puts Romney, however, only 35 electoral votes of the number he needs to win.
Other changes were Missouri and Michigan. Missouri improved for Romney to "At Risk". Michigan is now in play for Obama.
Virginia moves to the "Toss Up" column. This now leaves Obama with only 272 electoral votes, just barely above the required 270. Romney hasn't picked up much, however, with only 206 electoral votes. It will be his challenge to nip away at the few states in play. If he can pick up the "Toss Up" states, plus New Hampshire, that is enough for him to win. Of course, he also has to protect all of the states currently in his column.
South Carolina moves to "Currently Safe" for Romney. North Carolina also strengthens for Romney. New Hampshire weakens for Obama.
